Dear Lisa,

Enclosed you will find the pictures of the Walgreen stores in Hanover Park and Itasca, IL.

Walgreen's supposedly fixed these stores and the pictures will show you they are worse than before. I can't use the cement ramps. They are not accessible.

Hanover Park and Itasca gave them building permits to make our access to these stores worse than before. Walgreens and these two suburbs okayed these plans to make the improvements. Someone didn't make sure they checked with your office or the Attorney General Office to make sure these plans were correct even though they knew that there was a law suite filed against Walgreen.

I do not know where everyone else stands on checking the Walgreens against the lists.
As Linda and myself get these pictures they will be sent to you.

Please let me know where we stand with your last court date? Walgreens is really acting above the law. The corrections they are making are incorrect and if you and Lisa Madigan don't stop them now, check what they have corrected and make them have your office approve all the next corrections we will still be in trouble. This will set precedence against all persons with disabilities.

Lisa, I just received a new Government Access Bulletin. It will be on web site within the next twenty-four hours. It gives you the new information but it brings up the accessibility DEFINED LAWS for curbs, streets and sidewalks for persons with disabilities. I guess President Bush is going to get the ADA Law enforced correctly.

I called you this morning and left you a message.

The Charter One Bank has fixed the sidewalk in front of the bank. It now is accessible. I have not checked it out if I can access the bank yet. This is the one your inspector went to the wrong bank and it met the ADA Accessibility Law instead of the bank in Wood Dale that the complaint was against. I have not heard from your office this bank has been checked by your office. I am going to check the doors out and see if they are pressure doors like their main bank on North Ave. in Chicago. This is the bank your inspector check out and said it is PERFECT. I lived in the area and it was checked out. It does meet the ADA Law.

Cordially Yours,

Rosemarie A. Botthof
