The Unified Voice for Disabled Americans took these pictures.

We asked about the garage and this is what we saw. A gravel alley. This alley was blocked at one end. We asked if this alley is plowed in the winter when it snows. It is not plowed when it snows.

Ms. DeVance has been stuck in the snow several times and had to get help.

This photo shows the walkway from the garage to the house. How long does it take a 92 year old women with a walker to walk this? How about in the winter when it is covered in ice?

Ms. DeVance takes her aunt out when the weather is good. That is the only time she can take her out. She takes her out when she needs to go to the doctor's for her check up. Her aunt does have a pacemaker. The aunt's medical appointment should be changed because of weather?

Wouldn't it be easier to have a handicap parking space in front of the house?

We find ourselves wondering why this vehicle is parked on the street in front of the DeVance house almost continuously.

We also find ourselves wondering why the City of Evanston can not accomadate Ms DeVance and make an old woman's life a little bit easier to live.

Why can not the city allow Ms DeVance to have a permanent and much closer place to park so that an old woman does not have to walk twice as far?
