		Disabled Parking Space

Dear Mr. Zafiris:

We are in receipt of your letter dated September 20th quoting the IL. Accessibility Code.

Attached you will find a copy of the Illinois Accessibility Code for handicap parking spaces and this Jewel Osco does not meet the Code.

We have investigated this parking lot with persons that are disabled and a van with a lift. This Jewel Osco parking lot is not handicap useable for our needs.

It has been several months that we have been going around about this lot. We want a meeting with you and your inspectors within two weeks and on the date we set up with you.

People with disabilities are not taking a back seat anymore. We expect to have what the ADA Accessibility Law insures us to have and it is going to start now.

If we do not have this meeting we are requesting then we will do what has to be done prior to the election with media coverage. This is not the only Jewel Osco that does not meet our needs but this is the one we are going to start with.
