I would like to thank you for your concern in Little Company of Mary Hospital providing access for the "Disabled Drivers." Little Company Hospital is committed to providing convenient parking for disabled drivers and passengers.
After reviewing the ADA Law and talking with the Federal Agency pertaining to the requirements for "Van Accessible Spaces and Regular Handicapped Spaces." The hospital contracted with a parking lot striper to add "2 Van Accessible Spaces with appropriate signs" in addition to adding 4 more handicapped spaces on the west end of the parking lot. This project was completed today.
I have included along with this letter a copy of the current parking lot regulations and really appreciated the telephone call with you and Linda Steams. Please let Ms Steams know as to our action plan.
