Today (January 23, 2007), the US Dept. of Transportation published in the Federal Register (page 2833) a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) regarding passenger vessel access for vessel subject to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Comments should be sent to the DOT address, etc., contained in the Federal Register notice.  The comment period closes April 23, 2007.

Comments should NOT be sent to the Access Board.

This NPRM is NOT the (future) Access Board NPRM regarding the Passenger Vessel Accessibility Guidelines.
